Staff Accountant (Accounts Payable)

At Wirecard North America, we are currently seeking energetic, motivated, growth oriented candidates to join our team.

Location: Conshohocken, PA

Your duties:  

  • Internal controls monitoring and AP report analysis
  • High volume of invoice processing
  • Strong customer service capabilities, must build positive professional relations with key departments
  • Responsible for a variety of functions in support of the financial operations of the prepaid product
  • Timely and accurate system entries, reconcilements, and account validations
  • Ensure integrity of client balances by overseeing billing and closeout processes, and monitoring account dormancy
  • Accountable for the analysis of balance sheet accounts and the integrity of supporting reconciliations and supporting documentation
  • Dedicated and responsible for developing a keen understanding of process flows, risk analysis and mitigation, and ensuring that compliance controls are complied with all internal guidelines and company policy requirements
  • Identify, implement, and execute efficiency and control enhancements
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor

 

 Your profile: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent
  • 2–4 years of Accounts Payable experience required
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and work accurately
  • Individual must be open-minded and effective at collaboration
  • Individual must be flexible, able to manage time while balancing multiple initiatives, thereby, enabling them to respond to changing priorities
  • Ability to work productively and efficiently in a continuously evolving, complex, and fast-paced environment
  • Must have strong PC skills: advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (must exhibit knowledge of advanced formulas, links, pivot tables, and cubes)
  • Proven success as an independent worker
  • Highly organized and responsible with a results-oriented mindset
  • Experience in the financial services industry strongly preferred
