Accounting Manager

At Wirecard North America, we are currently seeking energetic, motivated, growth-oriented candidates to join our team.

Location: Conshohocken, PA

Your duties:

  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes
  • Responsible for monthly reporting, account reconciliations and monthly accruals
  • Preparation of consolidation financial information
  • Accurate and timely management of the monthly accounting cycle
  • Assist with annual audit
  • Support forecasting and budgeting activities
  • Client billing and invoicing
  • Management of accounts receivable
  • Management of accounts payable
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Cash flow management
  • Client account reconciliations
  • Exception processing with client account issues
  • Business metrics reporting to senior management and international head office
  • Assist with management meetings and presentations
  • Assist with annual business planning process
  • Team management and professional development of finance team

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or MBA a plus
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, preferred
  • 7–10 years of experience in accounting
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within corporate accounting
  • Previous experience leading an accounting/finance team
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions

Technical skills

  • Solid GAAP (IFRS as applicable) knowledge
  • Understanding of corporate tax and business filings (annual business filings)
  • Proven ability to effectively manage the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting cycles
  • Solid understanding of internal control and span of control issues
  • Balanced on size of organization and in terms of materiality
  • Data analysis skills
  • Financial reporting skills
  • Skilled at business planning
  • Strong understanding and correlation of financial transactions in terms of business metrics
  • International accounting experience (IFRS – Currency Conversion)
  • IT skills (Great Plains, advanced Excel skills, Microsoft PowerPoint)

  • Ability to stand in front of group with command
